Description
This paper aims at presenting the methodology used in HyFrance project to accompany the European HyWays project (development of the European Hydrogen Energy Road-map) and provide the French data, according to national specificities, i.e. to select French hydrogen chains from the energy source to the final users for transport and stationary sectors, evaluate the potential of national energy resources to mobilize for hydrogen production and propose national penetration scenarios for hydrogen technologies at the time horizons 2020, 2030 and 2050. The two significant impacts of this work are pointed out: the establishment of a survey of hydrogen energy in France, within the European harmonized framework of HyWays, and the emergence of a national collective techno-economic expertise on this topic (HyFrance Group of stakeholders).
