Physically protecting nuclear materials in transport
Description
The physical protection of nuclear materials against theft, sabotage, and unlawful removal is entirely the responsibility of the State or States involved. IAEA efforts to facilitate and encourage efforts in this field are recounted. The Convention on the Physical Protection of Nuclear Material (Vienna, 1979) is highlighted
