The system serves the following purposes: a) Ensuring completeness of the data to be collected by compiling lists of dates and absences, among other points, of patients coming in for post-operative checkups. b) Statistical analyses of therapeutic results in order to detect links between a number of factors and work out indications for improved therapy. c) Studies of the clinical progress of malignant diseases (especially problems of metastasizing). d) Epidemiological studies. Abstract (German)

Dieses System dient den folgenden Zielen: a) Sicherung der Vollstaendigkeit der zu erfassenden Daten u.a. durch Termin- und Versaeumnislisten von Nachsorgepatienten. b) Statistische Analysen der Therapieergebnisse mit dem Ziel, Zusammenhaenge zwischen verschiedenen Faktoren zu erkennen und Hinweise fuer eine verbesserte Therapie zu geben. c) Studien zum klinischen Verlauf der malignen Erkrankungen (besonders die Probleme der Metastasierung). d) Epidemiologische Untersuchungen.
