Effect of temperature on track-diameter measurements in LR-115 plastic track detector
Description
The etching mechanism of LR-115 plastic track detector is studied at different temperatures ranging from room temperature to 60 degC for different etching times. The effect of temperature on etch pit diameter of alpha particles has been studied. The particle range from track-diameter measurements has been derived using a simple relationship. (author)
