PWA of the e+e- → π+π-π+π- reaction in the ρ'(1600) mass range

Description

Analysis of the e+e- → π+π-π+π- and π+π-π0π0 reactions for 1350 ≤ √s ≤ 2400 MeV is presented. Partial Wave Analysis of the four charged mode shows a resonant ρε signal at ∼1560 MeV/c2 and an important α1(1260)π contribution. The residual 4π phase space production might include ρ'(1250)ππ and/or ρ'(1450)ππ contributions. Data have been collected by the DM2 experiment and refer to a total 2 pb-1 luminosity.
