Dielectron recombination in the collisions of electrons with partially ionized atoms
Description
Obtained is a simple expression for the coefficient of dielectron recombination (DR) of electrons in collisions with partially ionized atoms. Detailed comparison of obtained DR coefficients for hydrogen-like ions and iron ions with data available elsewhere is carried out. The results coincide with the most accurate calculations. The formula obtained differs favourably from others, being almost an analytical expression, reflecting the DR dependence on recombinating ion parameters
