Electricity and local authorities

This book analyses the end of the monopoly of the electric power market in France. It shows that the opening of this market to competition has impacts on local authorities that are power producers and involved in the development of new energy sources, like wind power and cogeneration. It analyses also the evolution of the juridical framework of local authorities and the aspects of power generation in terms of power generation, transport and consumption. (J.S.)
