Modeling of hot particle formation during Chernobyl NPP accident
Description
For understanding processes in the emergency power unit of the Chernobyl NPP and for estimating the disperse composition of thrown away dureing the accident hot fuel particles were fulfilled the experiments for simulation of the particle formation. With increasing the temperature of hot particle annealing in an inert medium at 1273-2273 K enlarges the relative leakage of radionuclides in the next succession: isotopes of cesium - europium - cerium - americium - ruthenium -plutonium - curium. Effective annealing temperature and time of the fuel during the accident are estimated
