Description
This paper mainly discusses the problem of FAC (Flow Action Corrosion) in the secondary loop system of a PWR nuclear power plant. The mechanism of FAC and the influencing factors of FAC are given. The latest progress in the management of FAC and the example of FAC in foreign countries are introduced. The reasons for thinning the wall of the second loop of a PWR nuclear power plant are analyzed. At last, the preventive measures taken by the FAC of PWR nuclear power plant are put forward. These preventive measures have been applied to a nuclear power plant and achieved good results. (author)
