Description
Qualitative features of the preliminary data on large transverse-energy proton-Pb collisions at 200 GeV/c obtained by the HELIOS collaboration at CERN are reproduced by a simple model in which the large transverse energy is built up by a large amount of soft final-state hadrons. (orig.)
