A method for accurate measuring of yield parameters for neutron generators having complex targets

Description
A method for accurate determination of the neutron yield or flux emitted by targets of neutron generators with complex surface configurations is presented. The method is based on the calculation of the neutron brightness distribution (number of neutrons irradiated from the unit of target surface in the unit of time) over the target, surface, by making several measurements at different points around the target. This distribution is obtained by solving an algebraic system of equations by means of the least squares method
