Engineering structures of the harbour of the Paks nuclear power plant, Hungary
Description
This article deals with the foundation and construction of the fixed runway. The harbour was built on the bank of operating canal branching off the river Danube. The embankment is, concerning its structure, an anchored diaphragm wall. The loads are elevated by a bridge crane travelling on a reinforced concrete crane runway. (author)
