Model of inelastic collisions of high-energy hadrons with nucleus

Description

During passage of a high-energy hadron through a heavy nucleus, there are emitted nucleons, light nuclei and many other particles, from which the most numerous group is nucleons and π+-0 mesons. We present a mathematical model which is a simplified description of basic processes occurring in the interior of the nucleus during passage of the hadron through the nucleus. Method of calculation is based on inelastic collision model called a fireball. Results of calculations are compared with experimental data from different detectors
