Modification of the ignitron rectifier control of the power supply system for the IFVE proton synchrotron
Description
An asynchronous control system has been developed for ignitron converters. It allows to decrease the low- frequency pulsations of the magnetic field approximately by the factor of ten. Apparatus for operative determination of harmonic components of the field pulsations has also been developed. It allows to measure pulsation amplitudes with an error not more than 20%. The operating experience of the asynchronous control system at the IHEP proton synchrotron is presented
