Investigations of water cleaning systems for the VVER-440 type nuclear reactor

Description

The various technological details for the treatment and cleaning of water used in the different processes required by reactor operation are presented. The water circuits include both the primary and secondary cooling systems where the contaminated water is recirculated after suitable cleaning. The pressure test, the circulatory cleaning and the operational tests of the cooling system are described in detail for the VVER-440 type reactor. (R.P.)
