Description

Sextupoles magnets are designed and manufactured for 2.5 GeV electron storage ring Indus-2 being developed CAT. Total 32 magnets are required for chromaticity correction. In addition to main sextupole field skew quadrupole field is incorporated in 16 magnets to control the coupling coefficient between the radial and vertical planes, by providing additional coils on poles 1 and 4.
