Condensate level control in desuperheater employing gamma rays

Description
A high and low level control arrangement for monitoring the condensate level inside the closed desuperheater in guanidine nitrate plant at Sindri Unit of Fertilizer Corporation of India Limited has been designed and commissioned. Two cobalt-60 sources have been employed. Suitable precautions are taken for affecting radiation safety requirements. (auth.)
