Summary of discussions and conclusions
Description
The different aspects of waste disposal are reviewed criteria and regulations in several countries are intensified and compared. In general it is found that radioactive waste are more uniformally handles, and have better defined criteria for handling than the non-radioactive hazardous wastes. The meeting recommends better international cooperation to establish coherent principles and guidelines for management of hazardous waste. (L.E.)
