Thiopyrine complexes with platinum and rhenium
- 1. Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Organicheskikh Poluproduktov i Krasitelej, Moscow (USSR)
Description
It has been estabilished that thiopyrine (pKsub(e)=13.64 in methylethylketone), dithiopyrilmethane and propyldithiomethane are weak organic based and form ionic associates (RH)sub(n-m)[Mesup(m)Xsub(n)]. The compounds of this type have been obtained for platinum and rhenium with thiopyrine. As sulphur-containing reagents, they give also the intercalation complexes. Complexes of such type have been obtained with platinum. It has been established that the reagents are protonated with respect to the sulphur atom. New data have been obtained on the properties of thiopyrine and its derivatives
