Optimization of fast reactor in-core fuel management with CSA

Description
CSA (Character Statistic Algorithm) developed by Institute of Nuclear and New Energy Technology, Tsinghua University, is successfully used in the in-core fuel management of PWR. The optimization of loading patterns for fast reactor equilibrium cycle is done in this paper with CSA and the code for fast reactor core calculation HNDB. The results show that CSA can be commendably utilized in fast reactor in-core fuel management and provide reference for development of code system for fast reactor in-core fuel management. (authors)
