Study on contribution of various mechanisms and thoir interference in cross section of alpha reactions in the distorted-wave method a finite interaction radius
- 1. Moskovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (USSR). Nauchno-Issledovatel'skij Inst. Yadernoj Fiziki
Description
Results are presented of first calculations of the cross sections for α-reactions on light nuclei carried out by means of the distorted wave method with a finite interaction radius. Interference of separate mechanisms as well as of different intermediate states of the system is taken into account. It is shown that a complete account for the process dynamics (overlapping of the bound state wave functions and the interaction potentials) results in violation of the qualitative criteria of the constructive interference obtained previously with account for the nuclear structure only
