Polythermal study of electrolyte solutions in ethanol

Description

On the basis of experimental data on electric conductivity of 1,1-electrolytes in ethanol in 233-313 K the limiting equivalent conductivities (λ0) of iodides of alkali metals and R4NI salts (where R=Me, Et, Bu) are calculated. Using the published data on transfer numbers, λ0 is divided into ionic components. The changes of λion0 depending on temperature and ion nature are analyzed. The Stox ionic radii and solvation numbers are calculated, the parameters of closest approach of ions are estimated
