Method and device for solidifying high level liquid wastes from a re-processing plant
Description
Purpose: To decrease the production of chlorides and reduce the amount of secondary liquid wastes by using low concentration nitric acid at a low radioactive level obtained from a condensator as scrubber feeding liquid. Constitution: In a solidification device for high level liquid wastes from a re-processing plant in which off-gases resulted from solidification of high level liquid wastes from a re-processing plant are cleaned with gas cleaning liquids and returned while being concentrated to a high level liquid waste solidification stage, the off gases produced in the concentration stage are condensed and the condensed liquids are fed as the gas cleaning liquids.
