Determination of uranium in various matrices using EDXRF and excitation by different radionuclides

Description
The determination of U in various samples by energy-dispersive x-ray fluorescence and excitation by different radionuclides (109Cd, 241Am, 57Co, 133Ba and 192Ir) was investigated. The most important parameters which influence the optimal choice of the radionuclides are: main constituents of the sample, size of the sample, concentration of U, concentration of accompanying elements.
