Storage rack for longish fuel elements

Description

In order to increase the capacity of the storage pool the parts of the racks for the LWR fuel assemblies are piled up at two levels. The front sides of the rack parts have got at their edges projections and recesses forming a supporting surface between the parts that can also absorb lateral forces. (DG)

Um die Kapazitaet des Lagerbeckens zu erhoehen, werden die Gestellteile fuer die BE des LWR in zwei Ebenen uebereinander gestapelt. Die Stirnseiten der Gestellteile sind mit am Rand liegenden, ineinander passenden Vorspruengen und Ausnehmungen versehen, die eine Stuetzflaeche zwischen den Gestellteilen bilden und auch seitliche Kraefte aufnehmen.
