Hydrogen diffusion mobility in metalhydrogen compounds on 5 group transition metal base (V, Nb,Ta) at elevated temperature
- 1. AN Ukrainskoj SSR, Donetsk. Fiziko-Tekhnicheskij Inst.
Description
The nature of hydrogen evolution from hydrogencontaining V, Nb and Ta in wide temperature and concentration ranges in α-solid solution field is studied. By initial and finite portions of kinetic curves of hydrogen evolution determined are diffusion characteristics of hydrogen containing V, Nb and Ta in the region of concentrations H/Me = 0.005-0.8 at 450-1200 K. With increase of the ratio from 0.005 to 0.5 the activation energy for hydrogen diffusion increases from 0.13 to 0.34 eV. In MeHsub(0.8) compounds activation energy for hydrogen containing vanadium constitutes 0.04 eV, for niobium and tantalum - 0.1 eV
