Supplementary safety device in a system for accident localization at WWER-type NPP

Description

The device proposed consists in a circulation loop and an assembly for combustion and recombination of hydrogen. Its main advantage is possibility for retaining the secondary side with oxigen-free atmosphere before the accident as well as elimination of the possibility of ignition of post-accident atmosphere in the secondary side, which could lead to its decomposition and contamination of the environment. 1 cl., 2 figs
