Energy deposition profiles in fast neutral injection experiments

Creators

  • 1. Association EURATOM-CEA, Fontenay-aux-Roses, France

Description

A Monte Carlo code has been developed to calculate the beam energy deposition profile in real geometry experiments including the ripple trapping effects. The computation time has been drastically reduced by using an acceleration process which conserves the physical aspects. Applications will be given for TFR and an ignitor-like experiment
