Refinement of the molecular parameters of the neodymium triiodide based on electron diffraction data

Description
Electron diffraction study of neodymium triiodide molecule structure is carried out. It is found that the molecule has D3h symmetry and equilibrium value of internuclear distance Re(Nd-I) = 286.6(5) Pm. The measured values of root-mean-square vibration amplitudes and experimental values of valency frequencies permit evaluation of deformation frequencies

Выполнено электронографическое исследование строения молекулы трииодида неодима. Найдено, что молекула имеет симметрию D3h и равновесное значение межъядерного расстояния Re(Nd-I) = 286,6(5) пм. На основе измеренных значений среднеквадратичных амплитуд колебаний и экспериментальных значений валентных частот оценены деформационные частотыAdditional details
