Effective spin-isospin N N-interaction at high momentum transfers and the elastic magnetic electron scattering by nuclei

Description
Elastic magnetic electron scattering by nuclei 117 Sn, 89 Y, 41 Ca and 17 O is analyzed in the framework of the self-consistent Finite Fermi System theory. For these nuclei, there are sufficiently accurate experimental data in wide intervals of the momentum transfer q. The analysis indicates a suppression of the effective interaction in the spin-isospin channel, i.e. a decrease of the Landau-Migdal amplitude g' by 30 - 50% at q ≅ 1.5 -2.5 fm-1. 25 refs., 9 figs
