Phase diagram and magnetic susceptibility of thulium-indium system

Description
The methods of DTA, RPA and magneto-chemical analyses have been used to investigate for the first time the diagram of Tm-In state. Existence of Tm2In, Tm5In3, TmIn, TmIn3 compounds is confirmed and new compound with the most probable formula Tm3In5 is found. In the temperature range of 250-850 K paramagnetic susceptibility is described by Curie-Weiss law. Fractures on concentration dependences of Curie paramagnetic temperature, effective magnetic moments, magnetic susceptibility correspond to stoichiometric compositions of compounds. Calculation of number of Boron magnetons per Tm atom shows that thulium is in the state close to Tm3+
