Description
Extraction of halide complexes of Cd, Hg, Ga, In, Tl, Pb and Sb by triphenyl-and triarylmethane, rhodamine, cyanine, styrene, thiazole and other dyes is considered. The effect of stereochemical factors of a dye, the nature of halide-ion, the presence of a salting-out cation on the extraction of the complexes is studied. It is shown that hydrocarbons of aromatic series and certain complex esters of acetic acid are the most efficient solvents in the process of the complex extraction in the presence of a salting-out agent. The extraction decreases in the series: benzene > toluene > ethylbenzene > propylbenzene > butylbenzene, and also in the series benzene > toluene > xylen e > mesitylene. 1 fig.; 1 tab
