Description
The new X-Ray Ordinance will become effective on January 1, 1988 and replaces the one issued in 1973. Main amendments have been made in the sections dealing with the training and qualification of appliers of X-ray equipment, with dose limits, permitted uses in the medical field, and medical control of persons occupationally exposed to X-radiation. Terms and definitions of radiation protection have been revised. Completely new items refer to the responsibilities of the radiation safety officer. The provisions concerning the keeping of records of X-ray applications have been amended so as to comply with current methods of information processing and handling. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Die neue Roentgenverordnung gilt ab dem 1. Januar 1988. Sie loest die RoeV von 1973 ab. Es aendern sich die Vorschriften ueber die Fachkunde der Anwender von Roentgenstrahlen, die Dosisgrenzwerte, die Zulaessigkeit ihrer Anwendung in der Medizin und die aerztliche Ueberwachung der Personen, die beruflich mit Roentgenstrahlen arbeiten. Auch wurden wichtige Definitionen des Strahlenschutzes geaendert. Zugleich wurde die Funktion des Strahlenschutzbeauftragten geschaffen und die Vorschriften ueber die Aufbewahrung der Aufzeichnungen ueber Roentgenstrahlenanwendungen wurden dem heutigen Stand der Informationsverarbeitung angepasst.
