Synthesis, physicochemical properties, and materials science aspects of superconducting MgB2 and related phases

Description
Discovery in 2001 of superconducting transition (Tc≅40 K) in MgB2 stimulated numerous investigations of the nature of superconductivity and other physicochemical properties of the compound and a large amount of related ones. Synthesis techniques are presented of more complex in respect to chemical composition borides to search new superconducting phases. Basic results of theoretical and experimental works in mentioned directions are analyzed

Открытие в 2001 году сверхпроводящеего перехода (Tc≅40 K) в MgB2 стимулировало многочисленные исследования природы сверхпроводимости и других физико-химических свойств этого и большого числа родственных соединений. Представлены методы синтеза более сложных по химическому составу боридов с целью поиска новых сверхпроводящих фаз.
