Description
Utilizing the technique of low level counting for gamma radiation, you can evaluate the specific activity of the daughters of Uranium, Thorium, and Potassium-40 natural isotopes in the Nicoya's Peninsula, Guanacaste, Costa Rica. Using the same technique you can measure the contamination of Cesium-137 at the same geographical region. This contamination probably was originated from Atolonius Bikini transferred from the South Pacific and resulting from atomic explossions in the atmosphere. 10 refs., 5 figs., 3 tables; 4 charts
