Description
The crystal structure of the title compound has been determined by single-crystal X-ray diffraction methods. The coordination geometry about the ruthenium atom of [RuCl(Me)(cod)(PPh2(o-MeOC6H4))] is irregular octahedral, with a chlorine and a phosphorus atom trans to the double bonds of the cycloocta-1,5-diene ligand, and the methyl ligand trans to a weak Ru-O bond
