Description
The article considers the 1981 energy policies of the IEA countries, based on detailed energy statistics for 1980. Then the developments within the field of energy within the IEA is described with particular attention to the study that has been made of the energy policies of Sweden. The investment in alternative forms of energy by Sweden is covered, as well as the IEA's advice that Sweden will need an alternative strategy if the alternative forms of energy do not live up to expectations.
