Description
The success of the modified KNO-scaling (KNO-G) in describing the data and solving the outstanding multiplicity puzzles is briefly reviewed. The description of the multiplicity data with Negative Binomial Distribution (NBD) and the common misunderstandings connected with this approach is discussed. Finally, the importance of the KNO-G and NBD approaches for the understanding of the present SPS Collider multiplicity data and for the predictions of the multiplicities at the future supercolliders is indicated
