Particle-hole state densities for statistical multistep comound reactions
Description
An analytical relation is derived for particle-hole state densities with energy constraints. The constraints, following the concept of statistical multistep compound reactions, mean that the particles are bound and the holes respect the bottom of the potential well. The corresponding densities of accessible final states for escape and damping are suggested. (author). 1 fig., 7 refs
