Occupational radiation-exposure reduction technology planning study

This report summarizes available LWR occupational radiation-exposure (ORE) data and describes the methods in use at commercial nuclear power stations for the acquisition and management of these data. Four major tasks are described: (1) the assessment of the capabilities of 36 operational ORE data management systems at nuclear power plants; (2) a survey of ORE studies including a literature search and a review of published LWR ORE studies; (3) the sponsorship of an ORE workshop; and (4) the development of recommendations and evaluation directed at identifying R and D for the reduction of ORE
