Nitric oxides formation in a r.f. gaseous discharge plasma between two electrodes
Description
The electrophysical characteristics of a high frequency (f=40 MHz) contracted discharge between two electrodes has been investigated for pressures close to atmospheric one. A special attention has been dedicated to the study of the discharge vibrational and kinetic temperatures, and the possibilities of this type of discharge to reach an equilibrium between the mentioned temperatures, and consequently establish conditions for the realization of plasma-technological process such as the formation of nitric oxides.
