Study of paramagnetic Ti and Cr centers in lead zirconate-titanate based solid solutions

Description
Results of the first observation of Ti3+ and Cr5+ ion ESR spectra in lead zirconate-titanate ceramics PbZr1-xTixO3 (0.39≤x≤0.55) with 0.25% addition of chromium for T=293 K in 3- and 8-mm ranges are presented. It is ascertained that the shape of spectrum is notably linked with x value. Based on the numeric simulation it is shown that the whole collection of experimental results can be explained within the framework of the model in which the ESR spectrum is conditioned by Ti3+ ions as well as by Cr5+ ions in tetragonal and rhombohedral environment
