Superpositions of the SU(1, 1) coherent states

Description
It is shown that superpositions of the Barut-Girardello coherent states of the SU(1, 1) Lie group exhibit SU(1, 1) squeezing due to quantum mechanical interference. This is similar to superpositions of the Glauber coherent states which show quadrature squeezing. The second-order correlation of the SU(1, 1) generators in the Barut-Giraradello coherent state is also considered. ((orig.))
