Description

The training course handbook in four parts was prepared by scientists of Atomic Minerals Division who have put in several years of work and gained expertise in their respective fields and is mainly meant for new geologists who are inducted from time to time in the organisation. Some parts are of vital importance to uranium exploration. This part deals with principal uraniferous areas of India, starting with summary on uranium metallogeny followed by an account of the key areas like that of Singhbhum, Domiasiat, Tummalapalle, Lambapur and the Himalayan belt.
