Spectrophotometric study of the molybdenum(VI)-1-pyrrolidinecarbodithioate system
Description
A spectrophotometric study of the molybdenum-1-pyrrolidinecarbodithioate complex has shown that the metal:ligand ratio is 1:2. Both molybdenum(VI) and molybdenum(V) form complexes with almost identical absorption spectra. The conditional extraction constant for the molybdenum(VI)-1-pyrrolidinecarbodithioate in chloroform system has been evaluated as 6.1 x 1016. (U.S.)
