Physico-chemistry of metal complexes with macrocyclic ligands

Experimental results and literature data on the problems of electronic structure, spectral properties (including the data of X-ray electron spectroscopy), geometric structure of d-metal complexes with synthetic macrocyclic ligands, containing donor atoms of nitrogen, oxygen, sulphur and phosphorus, have been generalized. Kinetic and thermodynamic characteristics of reactions with participation of macrocyclic ligands and their complexes, as well as possibilities of practical use of the given compounds, are discussed
