Jet corrections for pile-up in ATLAS using the jet-area method
Description
This talk presents the jet-area method as a technique to correct pile-up and underlying-event effects from jets measured with the ATLAS detector. The performance of this technique, the derivation and validation of the correction as well as the associated systematic uncertainties are described.
