Feasibility of examining the effect of the configuration of the peripheral parts of a VVER-1000 reactor core in the LR-0 experimental reactor on pressure vessel stress caused by neutron fluences
Description
The main results of existing measurements and calculations of the spatial energy distribution of neutrons in a VVER-1000 mockup in the LR-0 experimental reactor are described. Experimental uncertainties and (dis)agreements between measurements and calculations are discussed with respect to the determination of the radiation load, with regard to uncertainties of its determination and possibilities of its reduction.
