Effective potential, mass of Higgs boson, and ultraviolet cutoff of the standard model

Creators

  • 1. Institute of Nuclear Physics, Academy of Sciences of the USSR, Leningrad

Description

Consequences are discussed arising from consideration of the effective potential of Higgs fields, on the assumption that the range of applicability of the standard model is small (approx. <10 TeV), i.e., limited to the region of energies accessible in the near future
