Current diversion in the accretion disk of a magnetized neutron star

Description
The magnetized accretion disk problem was revisited and the currents flowing in the magnetosphere were studied. The importance of the radial currents in the disk was noted and it was examined how these radial currents can be diverted to flow along the magnetic-field lines. One fluid magneto-hydrodynamic analysis was applied to the model neutron star and the self-consistent current system was obtained
